Computer Vision Student Intern
Amy Shih is a Master’s student in Digital Innovation at Dalhousie University with a background in bioinformatics, data science, and machine learning. She has hands-on experience developing deep learning models for image classification, including applications of CNNs such as VGG16 and EfficientNet. With over five years of experience analyzing real-world biomedical and environmental data, Amy is passionate about using AI-driven technologies to enhance workplace safety and operational efficiency. At Training Works, she is excited to apply her expertise in computer vision and data analysis to support the development of Training Works an AI-enabled tools. Outside of work, Amy is a passionate explorer of local cafes, discovering new restaurants, and is an avid traveler who thrives on experiencing new places and cultures.
