Karen Williams brings a wealth of experience in project and program management, spanning both high-tech and industrial sectors. Most recently, she served as Program Manager at Mysa, a leading smart thermostat company based in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador. There, she was responsible for overseeing the execution of complex technology initiatives, coordinating cross-functional teams, and driving the successful delivery of home automation products that marry innovation with user-friendly design.

Karen began her career in the Oil & Gas industry, where she cultivated a deeply rooted safety-first mindset. Her experience managing large-scale industrial projects in high-risk environments instilled a disciplined, detail-oriented approach to execution, as well as a steadfast commitment to workplace safety.

In her role as Director of Operations at Training Works, Karen combines her deep operational knowledge with her technology leadership background to oversee the delivery of scalable, data-driven training solutions. She plays a key role in aligning cross-functional teams, refining internal systems, and driving strategic initiatives that support the company’s mission to enhance workplace safety and performance. Her unique blend of frontline safety experience and agile project leadership ensures that operations run smoothly, efficiently, and with a constant focus on impact.

When she’s not leading teams and streamlining operations, Karen can be found hiking Newfoundland’s rugged trails with her dogs by her side - combining her love for the outdoors with her passion for animal companionship.
